PTBP is used as a terminator to control the molecular weight of Polycarbonates during the manufacturing process.
PTBP is also used in the manufacturing process PTBP formaldehyde resin for surface coating applications which has an end use as tackifier for synthetic Rubber and as an adhesives in tyre industry.
