Dioctyl Adipate is an organic typical cold resistant plasticizer.Dioctyl Adipate is produced by the reaction of adipic acid and 2-ethylhexanol in the presence of catalyst like sulfuric acid. DOA is known as a highly efficient monomeric ester plasticizer.

Due to the extreme good flexibility,low temperature and good electrical properties, Dioctyl Adipate (DOA) is used as a plasticizer.

Due to its strong weather resistance and good heat stability, DOA is used as clear films for food packaging.
